Morley Elementary School is located in Burnaby, B.C. We have approximately 335 students representing more than 25 spoken languages. We actively live by our motto of "safe, welcome and responsible" as we interact on a daily basis. Our aim is to empower all learners to achieve their personal best.

There will be a raffle, carnival games, photos from the past and displays, dunk tank, food, and a chance to meet with former students and staff

Formal ceremony: 7 - 7:30 pm
Tickets: 2 for $1, 12 for $5, 25 for $10
Avoid the rush and get your tickets before the event at our Meet the Teacher Night on September 24 - 2 pm - 6 pm
Hair Striping, nail decals and tattoos start at one ticket each depending on the amount
Carnival Games start at one ticket each and there are prizes based on your winnings
Dunk Tank chances start at Two Tickets each and vary according to who is in the tank and whether it is the first try
Mr. Wall goes in the tank at 6 pm and first chances will be by auction
Photo Booth starts at Two Tickets each depending on the number in the group and the number of photos (costumes provided)
Morley 2015-2016 Band Our band teacher for this coming year is Mr. Wenzek. Information on the band program as well as forms are available on his website.
New Curriculum The Ministry of Education is publishing new curriculum for student in Kindergarten through Grade 9. A parent letter and information from the ministry about content and timeline are available by following the underlined links.
Registration We are welcoming registration of students born in 2010 for September 2015 kindergarten. Grade 7 students in our catchment are automatically enrolled in their catchment high school. Registration as well as acceptance into cross district schools and special programs is based on school board policy.
Strong Start Morley's StrongStart - is a parent/caregiver participation drop-in program that starts on September 14. Regular hours are Monday-Friday from 8:45:11:30 in Room 26. The easiest way to get to Strong Start is through the outside door on the east side of the building. There is no parking on the school grounds. For safety reasons, please leave strollers and buggies outside. To register, bring your child's birth certificate, passport or immigration papers with you. There is a great program with lots of activities for parents and their children to participate in as well as free snacks. Burnaby’s StrongStart Centres are open Monday to Friday when schools are open for instruction.
Online Payment for Hot Lunch and Young People's Concerts: Parents who are paying the full amount for hot lunch are able to do so online. We will also be providing the same service for our Intermediate students attending Young People's Concerts. If you are needing to make financial arrangements for partial payment of Hot Lunch, please return the Hot Lunch Envelope with your payment. For arrangements for Young People's Concert please see your child's classroom teacher.
Burnaby Parks and Rec have a variety of programs available for students at the Edmonds Community center as well as after school programs right here at Morley. For more information on Morley programs and to register go to the online registration and select Children then select Morley as the location.
